We're at The Old School House, Church Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield NG17 1AE, in the heart of town and close to the Idlewells Shopping Centre and bus station. Frequent local buses serve the town centre, and there's public parking nearby, including the Idlewells multi-storey.
How do I reach the practice by public transport?
The town-centre bus station beside the Idlewells Shopping Centre is a short walk away, and many Ashfield and Mansfield routes stop there. If you travel by train, Sutton Parkway on the Robin Hood Line is around two miles south of the centre, with onward buses into town.
How much does NHS dental treatment cost?
NHS charges in England (2026 rates) fall into three bands. Band 1 (£27.90) covers an examination, diagnosis and advice, including any X-rays and a scale and polish if needed. Band 2 (£76.60) covers fillings, extractions and root canal treatment. Band 3 (£332.10) covers crowns, dentures and bridges. Some patients qualify for free NHS treatment.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your dentist will take a full medical and dental history, examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues, and take any X-rays that are needed. You'll get a clear explanation of anything they find and an agreed plan, including costs, before any treatment begins.
