Regular dental check-ups let our dentists spot and treat problems early — from decay to gum disease and oral-health concerns. Most adults are seen every 6–12 months.

Regular check-ups at Sutton Smile Centre help keep your teeth and gums healthy and let us catch problems early, while they’re usually simpler and cheaper to treat. At each visit your dentist examines your teeth, gums and soft tissues, checks any existing fillings or crowns, and takes X-rays if they’re needed. A routine examination falls under NHS Band 1 (£27.90).
Most adults are seen every six to twelve months, depending on their dental health; your dentist will suggest an interval that suits you. Keeping up with check-ups is the simplest way to avoid an unexpected trip to the emergency dentist later on.
We’re on Church Street in the centre of Sutton-in-Ashfield, easy to reach from Huthwaite, Skegby and Kirkby-in-Ashfield. We’re currently accepting new NHS and private patients, so call 01623 557543 to book your first check-up.
